WHAT IS MADRID SUMMER FESTIVAL?

Wizink Center Concert

With seating, security measures and reduced capacity to avoid COVID-19, the WiZink Center offered spectators the best music of the year from the best artists. 

Thanks to the large surface of the WiZink Center, the former Palacio de Madrid, allowed the Madris Sumer Festival to take place without any problem. 

The WiZink Center in Madrid offers a larger capacity and maintains the necessary security compared to the private way implemented so far due to the Covid-19 restrictions.

Anti-covid measures at the WiZink Center

One of the most striking aspects is the new air renewal system in the WiZink Center that allows all the air in the venue to be completely renewed in just 8 minutes. In other words, the air will be refreshed every 8 minutes. If the virus can remain in the air, it can be prevented.

The capacity was also reduced by 10% compared to this new usual requirement, so visits are more comfortable and the two-meter distance between each participant is respected.

In fact, the concert is divided into different parts, with independent passages, its own bathroom and continuous disinfection service. In addition, the capacity of the bathroom will be monitored to improve safety.

What musical genre was played at Madrid Sumer Fest?

Musicals, indie music, pop, rock or flamenco were played this year at the Madrid Sumer Fest. Even the last Spanish representative for Eurovision in 2020 and 2021, Blas Cantó, was on the board of the WiZink Center to show some of his latest achievements.

Madrid Sumer Fest featured 15 performances during the last half of the summer, in which spectators were able to enjoy the best music of the summer in total comfort and safety.
